{"id":2170,"date":"2019-04-24T01:23:23","date_gmt":"2019-04-23T23:23:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/foradcamp.com\/en\/?page_id=2170"},"modified":"2019-04-24T01:31:33","modified_gmt":"2019-04-23T23:31:33","slug":"regulations-2019","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/foradcamp.com\/en\/regulations-2019\/","title":{"rendered":"Regulations 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<h5>8th Nature and Cinema Exhibition \u2013 October 19 &#8211; 20, 2019<\/h5>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #800080;\">(Submission deadline: June 16, 2019)<\/span><\/h6>\n<p><em>ForadCamp<\/em> is a film exhibition organized by the town of Figar\u00f3-Montmany and coordinated by the Association of Independent Documentary Filmmamkers INDOC.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition seeks to link the natural environment with independent personal cinema made with an innovative spirit. The Exhibition follows these rules:<\/p>\n<p><strong>OFFICIAL SECTION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Official Section <\/strong>is open to <strong>non-fiction films<\/strong>, made in any video format. All the films must comply the following requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Films <strong>must not exceed 30 minutes<\/strong> in lengh.<\/li>\n<li>Fiction films, purely informative and advertising videos of any kind will not be selected.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Nature<\/strong> should have a <strong>prominent place<\/strong> within the short film (it may be present as a space, reflection exercise, discovery, experience&#8230;)<\/li>\n<li>Creative and artistic risk works will be especially assessed.<\/li>\n<li>Although the Exhibition accepts English subtitles for the preselection process, <strong>all non-Spanish or non-Catalan films must have subtitles<\/strong> in either one of these two languages in case of being selected in the Official Section.<\/li>\n<li>Short films must have been <strong>completed after January 1, 2017<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>FORADCAMP KIDS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Also, this year there will be a children&#8217;s section, <strong>ForadCamp Kids<\/strong>, aimed at people under 12 and their families. For this section, films that meet the following requirements will be accepted:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Documentary and animation short films<\/strong> of <strong>up to 15 minutes<\/strong> will be accepted.<\/li>\n<li>The works must be suitable <strong>for children under 12 years<\/strong> <strong>old<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Nature<\/strong> must have a <strong>preferential place<\/strong> in the film.<\/li>\n<li>All non-Spanish or non-Catalan films with dialogues must include <strong>subtitles<\/strong> in either one of these two languages.<\/li>\n<li>Short films must have been <strong>completed after January 1, 2015.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>SUBMISSIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Submissions will be accepted from <strong>May 2nd until June 16th, 2019<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Films can be submitted in two ways:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>a) Via <strong>Festhome:\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/festhome.com\/f\/foradcamp\">https:\/\/festhome.com\/f\/foradcamp<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol>\n<li>b) Via the <a href=\"http:\/\/foradcamp.com\/registrations-2019\/\"><strong>online form<\/strong><\/a> on the Exhibition website.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>SELECTION PROCESS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Selected works will be announced during August 2019. In order to be screened during the Exhibition, all selected films <strong>will have to send an H264 format file <\/strong>of the short film. Also, the organization could use up to 1 minute of each selected short film to promote the Exhibition on any media.<\/p>\n<p>The Exhibition reserves the right to select some of the short films submitted to participate in non-competitive sections.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>SCREENING<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>screening<\/strong> of selected films will be held in the hall of New Casino Figar\u00f3, on <strong>October 19 and 20 2019<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>By submitting to this Exhibition you are admitting copyright ownership of the film, and you are assigning the screening rights to the Exhibition.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>AWARDS AND JURY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The short films in the Official Section will compete for the <strong>Jury Award<\/strong>, <strong>Audience Award<\/strong>, <strong>Distribution Prize <\/strong>and<strong> Granollers Cultural Association Mention<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Best Documentary Award<\/strong> will be worth \u20ac300 (subject to income taxes) and will be chosen by a Jury of film professionals.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Audience Award<\/strong> will be decided according to the results of the audience vote held in the theater the day of the screening.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Distribution Prize<\/strong>, sponsored by <strong>Festhome<\/strong>, will consist of bonus for the distribution of the selected short in international festivals.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Granollers Cultural Association <\/strong>will deliver a <strong>mention<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Also, the short films in the <strong>ForadCamp Kids Section<\/strong> will be eligible for the <strong>Children&#8217;s Jury Prize<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Children&#8217;s Jury Prize<\/strong> will be chosen by a Jury made up of children under 12 years of age.
