The Jury<\/b> of Foradcamp 2021<\/b>, composed by Anna Santmarti, Margot Mecca and Jonathan Darch<\/strong>, awarded the Jury Prize for Best Documentary<\/strong>, endowed with \u20ac300, to \u201cPolyfonatura\u201d by Jon Vatne. <\/strong>\u00abFor the director’s research to transmit in audiovisual language the sound and the artistic experimentation of his protagonist. For his neatness in the use of image, sound, and edition. And for the pleasure for us as spectators of being able to share this experience\u201d.<\/p>\n

They have gave a Special Mention<\/strong> to \u201cLes Antilopes\u201d by Maxime Martinot<\/strong>: \u00abFor the freedom of the filmmaker to use different backgrounds and formats, which explore unconventional cinematographic paths\u00bb.<\/p>\n

INDOC Association <\/strong>has awarded the Distribution Prize <\/strong>to \u201cShadegan\u201d, by Ako Salemi<\/strong>: \u201cFor transporting us to a reality where nature is a fundamental part of the life of the protagonist, and doing it in an observational style, filming reality as it is. We emphasize the beauty of the images and the rhythm of the editing\u00bb. This award is sponsored by Festhome,<\/strong> and consists of one annual bonus for the international distribution of the selected short in Festhome platform.<\/p>\n

The Special Mention of Granollers Cultural Association<\/strong> has been for \u201cRiafn\u201d by Hannes Lang<\/strong>: \u201cfor the outstanding photography, the sound work and the cinematographic tempo\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Jury 2021<\/span><\/h6>\n

Anna Sanmart\u00ed<\/strong><\/p>\n

She holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication and works as a director, screenwriter, and camera operator in documentary film projects. She has lived and directed in several countries. During her career, she has worked as a personal assistant with directors such as Joaquim Jord\u00e0, Victor Kossakovsky, and Ventura Durall. Her films have been selected at festivals such as Rotterdam, San Sebastian, DocsLisbon, etc. Her filmography includes Je ne suis pas moi-m\u00eame<\/em> (2006), La terra habitada<\/em> (2008) African Request (2007),\u00a0 Altsasu, ferides obertes (2019), El mirall andorr\u00e0 (2020) and Viatge d’hivern<\/em> (2020), among others.<\/p>\n

Margot Mecca<\/strong><\/p>\n

She is a postdoctoral researcher at Pompeu Fabra University and an executive producer from the EURODOC program. She works with different companies as an executive producer and as a\u00a0consultant on documentary and fiction projects. Her first production, Mother Lode<\/em> (dir. Matteo Tortone), was premiered at the 2021 edition of the SIC, as part of the Venice Film Festival. Since 2011 she has been collaborating with the Festival dei Popoli. She coordinated the Doc at Work co-production market between 2013 and 2015. Since 2018, she has been the coordinator of the Doc at Work Future Campus and since 2020 she has been part of the festival selection committee. In 2021 she has been invited to be part of the MajorDocs programming committee.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Jonathan Darch<\/strong><\/p>\n

He studied music at the School of Contemporary Music in Buenos Aires and at the Liceu Conservatory of Barcelona. He also studied Sonor Landscape and Concrete Music with Jos\u00e9 Manuel Berenguer, Ferran Cuadras and Carlos G\u00f3mez. In 2005, he partnered with Jordi Juncadella to do sound work for audiovisuals. He has been experimenting and working in all the sound fields and on very diverse documentary and fiction projects, as well as in museum exhibitions; increasingly specializing in sound design. He worked in the films: My<\/span> Mexican<\/span> Bretzel<\/span>, La Innoc\u00e8ncia, Els Dies Que Vindran, Mudar La Pell, Anchor<\/span> and<\/span> Hope<\/span>, La Fam\u00edlia Txetxena… He was nominated for Best Sound at the 2018 and 2020 Gaud\u00ed Awards.<\/p>\n
