ForadCamp 2025, XIV Nature Film Festival<\/b> took place on October 25 and 26<\/b> in Figar\u00f3-Montmany<\/b>, featuring high-quality cinema and outdoor activities at the foot of the Montseny Natural Park.<\/span><\/p>\n

In this fourteenth edition, audiences enjoyed a carefully curated selection of documentary and fiction films exploring the relationship between people and nature from singular and committed perspectives. Among the highlights were El eco<\/em>, by Tatiana Huezo<\/b>, a delicate and powerful portrait of childhood and rural life in Mexico; and As the tide comes in<\/em>, by Juan Palacios and Sofie Husum Johannesen<\/b>, an atmospheric documentary about the rhythms and silences of a Danish coastal community.<\/p>\n

Also screened was A happy day<\/em>, by Hisham Zaman<\/b>, a tender and moving story about three young refugees dreaming of escaping a detention center in northern Norway.<\/p>\n

For family audiences, ForadCamp Kids<\/b> filled the hall with Flow<\/em>, by Gints Zilbalodis<\/b>, a dialogue-free animated adventure that invites reflection on coexistence, the fragility of the planet, and the need to cooperate in a changing world.<\/p>\n

The traditional guided excursion by the Apr\u00e8n team<\/b>, this year through the Vallc\u00e0rquera valley, was once again one of the most participatory moments of the festival, offering an experience to reconnect with nature through shared discovery.<\/p>\n

Audiences also took part in a live online conversation with filmmaker Juan Palacios<\/b>, who shared the challenges and successes of As the tide comes in<\/em>. The films of this edition focused on resistance, resilience, and tenderness<\/b>, showing the harshness and beauty of life with nature as a central and symbolic axis.<\/p>\n

ForadCamp is a film festival organized by the Figar\u00f3-Montmany Town Hall<\/a><\/span> and coordinated by the Independent Documentary Filmmakers Association INDOC. Year after year, the festival reaffirms its commitment to independent, sensitive cinema connected with nature<\/b> as a space for life and thought.<\/p>\n
