The XI edition of ForadCamp Nature and Film Festival took place in Figar\u00f3-Montmany on September 17 and 18. In addition to the Official Competitive Section, other outdoor spaces and activities related to cinema have been offered, at the foot of the Montseny Natural Park. A total of two hundred people have enjoyed high quality and personal cinema in which nature is the protagonist, context or reason for reflection.<\/p>\n

A solid and diverse Official Section has shown a dozen works from the United Kingdom, Netherlands and Germany, co-productions from South Africa and France, Hungary and Belgium, and a wide presence of shorts from the Spanish territory.<\/p>\n

The jury for this edition, composed by Cloe Masotta, Rub\u00e9n Margall\u00f3 and Federico Delpero<\/a>, has awarded the Best Short Film Award<\/strong> (awarded the ForadCamp Rain Trophy and \u20ac300 in cash), for \u00abCan Gardell\u00bb, by S\u00edlvia Subir\u00f3s and Florencia Aliberti<\/strong>,<\/a> \u201cfor the projection of a critical gaze, full of irony, to a rural world presented as a neoliberal fetish<\/em>.\u201d The jury has also awarded a special mention to \u00abThe day they blew up the mountain\u00bb, by Alba Bresol\u00ed Aliberch<\/strong>, \u201cfor showing the capacity of cinema to preserve the vestiges of a reality in extinction. <\/em>\u00bb<\/p>\n

The Distribution Award<\/strong>, sponsored by Festhome and awarded by the INDOC Association, went to \u00abSome Kind of intimacy\u00bb by Toby Bull,<\/strong> \u00abfor being an honest portrait in which the director, with minimal brushstrokes, depicts the relationship between human beings and nature, between life and death<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n

The Special Mention granted by the Granollers Cultural Association<\/strong>, has been ‘ex aequo’ to the films: \u00abMemory\u00bb, by Nerea Barros<\/strong> and \u00abThe day that They blew up the mountain\u00bb, by Alba Bresol\u00ed Aliberch<\/strong>. The mention has been granted in recognition of the work and good use of narration, photography and montage.<\/p>\n

And, finally, the Audience Award <\/strong>has gone to \u00abThe day they blew up the mountain\u00bb, by Alba Bresol\u00ed Aliberch.<\/strong><\/p>\n
