ForadCamp 2024<\/strong>, the XIII Nature Film Festival<\/strong>, has announced the dates for its next edition, which will take place on October 26 and 27<\/strong> in Figar\u00f3-Montmany<\/strong>, a privileged natural setting at the foot of the Montseny Natural Park<\/strong>. Once again, the festival will offer a selection of feature films where nature<\/strong> takes center stage, whether as the protagonist, the setting, or an essential element.<\/p>\n

This year, ForadCamp will present five cinematic works<\/strong>, both documentaries<\/strong> and fiction<\/strong>, standing out for their variety of origins and approaches, reaffirming its commitment to personal, innovative, and independent cinema.<\/p>\n

Among the selections are the most recent works of two directors who have already made their mark in previous editions. La hojarasca<\/strong><\/em><\/a>, by Macu Mach\u00edn<\/strong>, is a hypnotic piece that explores the passage of time and the connection between a family of women and the landscape they inhabit. Meanwhile, \u00abEl bon auguri\u00bb<\/strong><\/a>, by Alba Bresol\u00ed<\/strong>, is a poetic and profound story about natural cycles and their symbolic relationship with human lives.<\/p>\n

The festival will also offer a global perspective with films that address current issues. Searching for Nika<\/strong><\/em><\/a>, by Stanislav Kapralov<\/strong>, provides a poignant chronicle of the impact of war and the power of solidarity in the midst of conflict. On the other hand, First Cow<\/strong><\/em><\/a>, by renowned director Kelly Reichardt<\/strong>, sensitively narrates a story of friendship, survival, and the relationship with the environment in a wild landscape.<\/p>\n

This year, ForadCamp Kids<\/strong> will offer a space designed especially for families, with the screening of Sirocco and the Kingdom of the Winds<\/strong><\/em><\/a>, by Beno\u00eet Chieux<\/strong>. This magical and fantastical film invites both young and old to embark on a brave and captivating adventure.<\/p>\n
