ForadCamp celebrates its fifteenth edition, continuing to bring quality cinema to the foot of the Montseny Natural Park. On October 24 and 25, the XV Nature Film Festival in Figaró-Montmany will take place.
Over this weekend, we will share fiction, non-fiction and animation films. We will screen Historias del Buen Valle, by José Luis Guerín, a portrait of resistance and coexistence where the city ends. In Estrany riu, by Jaume Claret Muxart, we will follow the flow of adolescence around a river during a family holiday. In the Saudi feature film Hijra, Shahad Ameen tells the story of a journey to Mecca, where three generations of women follow very different paths in life. And we haven’t forgotten our family audience: at ForadCamp Kids, we will screen The Wild Robot, by Chris Sanders, the beautiful awakening of a robot to love on an island untouched by humans. As every year, on Sunday morning there will be a guided hike through the Montseny, organized by Aprèn, an opportunity to connect with the surrounding landscape and with one another.
ForadCamp is a film festival organized by the Figaró-Montmany Town Council and coordinated by the Association of Independent Documentary Filmmakers (INDOC). The festival champions independent, sensitive cinema connected to nature as a space for life and thought.
