ForadCamp 2024, the 13th Nature and Cinema Exhibition, will be held on the weekend of October 26 and 27, in Figaró-Montmany. Join us for a captivating blend of quality cinema and outdoor activities amidst the breathtaking Montseny Natural Park.
As usual, ForadCamp focuses on feature films where nature plays a key role, whether as a protagonist, setting, or condition. Five works, both documentaries and fiction, from diverse origins and backgrounds. First, we will screen the latest works of two directors who previously participated in ForadCamp: La hojarasca, by Macu Machín, a hypnotic piece exploring the passage of time and the connection between a family of women and the landscape they inhabit, and El bon auguri by Alba Bresolí, a poetic and intimate story about the symbolic relationship between natural cycles and the lives immersed in them.
We will also open a window to the world with Searching for Nika, by Stanislav Kapralov, a powerful chronicle of the impact of war and the power of solidarity in the face of conflict, and First Cow, by Kelly Reichardt, a delicate and elegant fiction about friendship, survival, and the relationship with nature in a wild landscape.
In this edition, ForadCamp Kids will offer a space for families with Sirocco and the Kingdom of the Winds, by Benoît Chieux, a magical adventure that invites both young and old to dive into a world full of courage and fantasy.
ForadCamp is a film exhibition organized by the Figaró-Montmany Town Council and coordinated by the Association of Independent Documentary Filmmakers (INDOC). The festival aims to connect the natural environment with personal, independent, and innovative cinema.
