The Jury of the Official Section of ForadCamp Nature and Cinema Exhibition 2017 was in charge of granting the Prize to the Best Documentary of the Exhibition. In this edition, it was composed of three renowned professionals from the world of cinema, criticism and teaching.
Eulàlia Iglesias Huix
Journalist specialized in cinema and audiovisuals. Professor of Theory and Analysis of film and television, and Contemporary Aesthetic Currents at the University Rovira i Virgili. Member of the Editorial Board of Caimán Cuadernos de Cine, she regularly collaborates as a film and television critic in the newspaper Ara, El Confidencial, Time Out Barcelona, Rockdelux and Sensacine, among others.
Jorge Caballero
Technical engineer of telecommunications and B.A. in audiovisual communication. Master in Interactive Media at the University of Limerick. Director and producer at GusanoFilms, he developed documentaries such as Bagatela, Nacer and Paciente, awarded at prestigious festivals like Cartagena, Málaga, BAFICI, Tribeca and DocsBarcelona, among others. He won the National Documentary Prize of Colombia twice. He is an expanded documentary coordinator for the UAB Creative Documentary Master’s Degree, and a visiting professor at several Ibero-American universities and festivals. He also develops interactive and transmedia projects such as Las Fronteras, winner of the LaCaixa grant for Art for Social Improvement, or Speech Success, winner of the Haiku call for NFB Canada and Arte Francia TVs.
Arturo Redín
Graduated in Philosophy from the University of Salamanca, he has worked professionally as a literary author, journalist, screenwriter and exhibitor, as well as documentary and editorial editor. As a writer, he has numerous short story awards at national and international level, the satirical novel «La Cofradía del Centollo» and more than 300 articles of criticism and opinion published in the press. As a screenwriter, he worked in “El viento africano”, “Hombres de azúcar”, and in the feature films El cielo gira and Mercado de futuros, both by Mercedes Álvarez.
