ForadCamp 2021 opened with «Une année polaire» (Teacher in Greenland) by Samuel Collardey, a session aimed at families. The film, which portrays the journey of a recently graduated Danish teacher in search of a job adventure in Greenland, captivated young and old.
Likewise, this year the Festival recovered the Official Section of non-fiction short films. Twelve shorts from France, Germany, Norway, Denmark, Belgium, Spain, Iran and Peru were screened over three sessions. You can consult the winners from this link.
ForadCamp Lounge, which took place on Sunday night, the public was able to ask first-hand questions directly to who was the trainer of Ulises orca, Albert López. The public shared points of view about the documentary and the negative effects of having animals in captivity.
The attending public was also able to enjoy the guided tour by Aprèn Serveis Ambientals: “A bird’s-eye walk in search of birds with a cinematographic future”. The direct observation of birds in their habitat allowed us to glimpse specimens of gray heron, robin, and review film titles such as «The Birds» and «The Innocent Saints» from a perspective of nature.
