The short films in the Official Section compete for the Jury Award, Granollers Cultural Association Award, Audience Award and Distribution Prize.
- The Best Documentary Award will be endowed with €300 and will be chosen by a Jury of film professionals.
- The Granollers Cultural Association Award will consist on the screening of the selected short in the Dimarts Singulars Exhibition held at the Granollers Film Club.
- The Audience Award will be decided according to the results of the audience vote held in the theater the day of the screening.
- The Distribution Prize, sponsored by Clickforfestivals, will consist of bonus for the distribution of the selected short in international festivals.
The Jury of this year will be formed by:
Elisabet Prandi. She’s director and director of photography. She studied cinematography at the FEMIS (École Nationale Supérieure des Métiers de l’Image et du Son), and also graduated from the IEFC (Institute of Photographic Studies of Catalonia). She directed several documentaries and visual works which were broadcasted in televisions, festivals and various museums around the world. As director of photography, she has worked for different directors like Marta Balletbó-Coll and Pere Portabella.
Carme Mayugo. She’s edu-comunicator and exjournalist. From Teleduca, she designs and coordinates participatory audiovisual creation processes based on community revitalization. Since 2000, she has worked as a producer and self-production documentary consultant. She has tutored more than 50 projects, many of them being documentary teacher at the Escola de la Dona of the Barcelona Provincial Council. She’s a PhD in Communication and Media Education Community by the USC (University of Santiago de Compostela), where she’s part of Cidacom research group and REAL-CODE network.
Jordi Morató. He is a director, screenwriter and editor. Graduated in Audiovisual Communication from the UPF (Pompeu Fabra University), he has a Master in Creative Documentary IDEC-UPF andhe’s a Technician in Audiovisual Production and Performances by EMAV (School of Audiovisual Media Barcelona). His latest film, Sobre la marxa (2014), has been selected in over 50 international festivals and was awarded 13 prizes. His first work, «Camí de terra» (2012), won the Jury Award at Foradcamp 2012.
