October 25 and 26 in Figaró-Montmany: independent cinema and outdoor activities in the heart of nature
ForadCamp 2025, the 14th Nature Film Exhibition, has announced the dates for its new edition, which will take place on October 25 and 26 in Figaró-Montmany, at the foot of the Montseny Natural Park. Once again, the festival will offer a selection of documentaries and fiction films that explore the relationship between people and nature through unique, committed, and innovative perspectives.
This edition will feature four films, both documentaries and fiction works, reaffirming ForadCamp’s commitment to independent, sensitive, and personal cinema.
Among the highlights are El eco, by Tatiana Huezo, a delicate and powerful portrait of childhood and rural life in a remote Mexican valley; and As the tide comes in, by Juan Palacios and Sofie Husum Johannesen, an atmospheric documentary depicting the poetic decline of a Danish coastal community.
The program will also include A Happy Day, by Hisham Zaman, a tender and moving story about three young refugees dreaming of escaping from a detention center in northern Norway.
This year, ForadCamp Kids will present Flow, by Gints Zilbalodis, an animated adventure without dialogue, full of visual poetry and awarded the 2025 Oscar for Best Animated Feature. The film reflects on coexistence, the fragility of the planet, and the need to cooperate in order to survive in a changing world.
On Sunday morning, the festival will also offer a guided excursion through Vallcàrquera: “The Hidden Secrets of the Valley”, a peaceful walk to discover the fauna, flora, and stories of this unique natural landscape.
ForadCamp is organized by the Municipality of Figaró-Montmany and coordinated by the Association of Independent Documentary Filmmakers INDOC. Year after year, the event celebrates independent and sensitive cinema, closely connected to nature as a space for life and reflection.
Don’t miss ForadCamp 2025 and let yourself be captivated by the power of cinema and nature!
